Hope everyone got some time to work on their cars these past couple of weeks!
I was able to get the Ohlins DFV coilovers installed and all I can say is that these things are incredible!! Holy Jesus, after driving on I-10 in California outside LA for several hours I was ready to end it all by way of a concrete barrier but decided a better solution would be to replacing the aging shocks and springs...
Despite having an 11kg spring rate on all four corners, they're somehow less harsh. In fact, they're not harsh at all. It did lower the ride height significantly in the rear and just a bit in the front, still plenty of room to clear the speed bumps.
I also can't stress enough how good cars seem to last here in Phoenix, the suspension bolts came off no problem! Not too shabby for a car that's old enough to drink..
I also installed the stainless clutch line, I think there's some air in there...
